           Can it really be September 1st?    Labor day week-end is upon us, the unofficial beginning of the fall season.  The summer has once again flown by.  The weather has been hot and humid over the last several days and we are in urgent need of rain.

           Mark your calendar to come to the annual LLIA Labor day week-end meeting.    It will be held on September 4th.  Coffee and donuts will be available at 9:00 a.m., with the meeting starting at 9:30 a.m. 

           Among the topics on the agenda will be the progress on the dredging project, the future of bingo and the 2011 renewal of the lake assessment. 

           We will also have elections on several positions, Treasurer, Secretary and two board members.  If you are interested in running for any of these positions, please contact me at the e-mail address below.
